NALS of Orange County* is the Orange County, California chapter of
NALS...the association for legal
professionals,
the national association. NALS was founded in 1949;
for more information about the history of NALS, please visit
www.nals.org.
The main objective of NALS is to
enhance the competencies of legal professionals through continuing legal
education, technology, and networking with other legal professionals in our
local community, state, region, and throughout the nation.
NALS
of Orange County sponsors a
wide variety of programs and
activities throughout the
year designed to increase
the effectiveness, expertise
and skills of our members.
Educational meetings are
held on the second Wednesday
of each month.
In the same manner as the bar
association functions for its members, NALS of Orange County attempts to
inspire law office staff to obtain professional excellence. Continuing legal
education, which is beneficial to the cross-section of our members, is
provided. Career development is enhanced. Experts and authorities continue to
research new methods, techniques, and products to provide the best resources at
all levels in our association.

Networking is what it's

* Newport-Santa Ana Legal
Secretaries Association was chartered in
April 1986. In February 2002, the
members of Newport-Santa Ana LSA voted to change its name to NALS of Orange
County. The purpose of the name change was to expand our membership to people
who work in the legal profession in positions other than
legal secretaries. The
newly-named chapter was chartered by NALS
on March 13, 2002. |
